Zhenyuan (Qiandongnan)
Zhenyuan ( 镇远 县 , Zhènyuǎn Xiàn ) is a Chinese county in the Qiandongnan Autonomous District of the Miao and Dong in the southeast of Guizhou Province . It has an area of 1,878 km² and has a population of 250,000. Its main town is the large community of Wuyang (舞 阳镇).
The Qinglong Caves ( 青龙 洞 , Qinglong dong ) from the time of the Ming Dynasty and the site of Hepingcun (1941-1944) (Hepingcun jiuzhi 和平 村 旧址) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
