Ming tomb of the Prince of Lu
The tomb of the Prince of Lu from the Ming Dynasty ( Chinese 明鲁 王墓 , Pinyin Míng Lǔwáng mù ), also the mausoleum of Prince Huang ( Chinese 荒 王陵 , Pinyin Huāng wáng líng ), tomb of Prince Zhu Tan from Lu of the Ming Dynasty ( 明鲁 王 朱 檀 墓 , Míng Lǔ wáng Zhū Tán mù ) or simply the tomb of Zhu Tan ( 朱 檀 墓 , Zhū Tán mù ) u. a. is the tomb of Zhu Tan . It is located in the village Shangzhaicun (尚寨村), greater community Zhongxindian (中心店镇), City Zoucheng , prefecture-level city of Jining , province of Shandong , People's Republic of China .
The grave of Zhu Tan ( 朱 檀 ) (1370–1389), the prince ( wang ) of Lu, was uncovered in 1970 in what was then Zou ( 邹 ) County, Shandong Province. Zhu Tan belonged to the imperial family of the early Ming Dynasty and was the tenth son of Emperor Hongwu ( Zhu Yuanzhang ), the founder of the Ming Dynasty.
The more than 2000 grave goods also included musical instruments, paintings and several prints from the time of the Mongol dynasty , including the book Zhuzi dingding Caishi shu jizhuan ( 朱子 订 定 蔡氏 书 集 传 ). In addition, an honor guard ( yizhang ) consisting of approx. 400 colored wood-carved figures belonged to the grave goods.
The grave has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-261) since 2006 .
