Ziegelhütte (Herrnfehlburg)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Einöde Ziegelhütte was a district of the Lower Bavarian municipality of Herrnfehlburg , north of the main town on the way to Stubenhof .

In a map and the accompanying textual explanation from around 1829, the town of Ziegelhütte is listed in Herrnfehlburg as a place of residence with a house and a brickworks. In 1861 there were five residents. The documentation for the 1871 census describes the place as a wasteland in the municipality of Herrnfehlburg, belonging to the parish Haselbach and the school in Rattiszell , with one building and three residents. The 1875 census also counted three residents. The place has not been mentioned since the census of 1885.

Simple systems for brick production in field fire brick factories were then called brickworks .
