The Zierliche white border-Funkie ( Hosta 'Decorata') is a family from the genus Funkie ( Hosta ) in the family of the Agavaceae (Agavaceae).

The dainty white-bordered funkie is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 40 to 55 centimeters. It forms subterranean runners. The leaf blade measures up to 16 × 14 centimeters. It is rounded-egg-shaped, blunt or slightly pointed and has 4 to 5 (possibly up to 7) pairs of nerves. Their edge is regularly white, the underside is faintly shiny. The flower stalk is flat and runny and up to 30 centimeters long. The corolla lobes are half turned back and dark purple.

The flowering period extends from July to August.

The petite white-bordered Funkia comes from Japan and is only known in culture.

use

The dainty white-bordered hosta is used as an ornamental plant. It is a ground cover and needs shady or partially shaded locations.

Only the 'Decorata Normalis' variety is classified as a variety with completely green leaves. Its flowers are fertile.
