Zigeuner auf Zeit is the second solo album by the musician IC (actually Ralf Schmidt). It was released on record and cassette in the GDR in 1988 and on CD in 2003.

Although the album Traumarchiv had been very successful (more than 200,000 copies sold in 1988) IC Falkenberg was looking for more diverse possibilities.

The album combines synth-pop , 80s stadium rock and folk . Ingo Politz has a larger share in production .

In 1988 the song Dein Herz was the winner at the festival in Bregenz and also the first single that was released by IC in the Federal Republic of Germany.
