Traumarchiv is an album by the musician IC Falkenberg . It was released in 1987 in the GDR by Amiga on LP and cassette and in 2003 by Buschfunk on CD.

background

IC Falkenberg wanted to create an album that he could not consistently implement together with his band Stern Meißen at the time. The songs Wunderland, Mensch, Aber wann und Mann im Mond were commissioned by the television of the GDR . The song Janine should actually be called Berlin , but was renamed by IC Falkenberg due to the hustle and bustle around the 750th anniversary of Berlin. The song Man in the Moon was originally supposed to appear on a children's album. First an EP was released with the titles Aber wann, Kalter als Eis, Wunderland and Traumarchiv; because of the high sales it was decided to produce a long-playing record.

In 1988 the album received the GDR's first commercial record award, the " Golden Amiga ", for 200,000 records sold .
