Zigmantas Benjaminas Kazakevičius
Zigmantas Benjaminas Kazakevičius (born October 21, 1942 in Skriaudžiai , Prienai district ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician . He is a former head of the Kaunas district .
Life
After graduating from high school, Zigmantas Benjaminas Kazakevičius graduated in 1968 from the Lietuvos kūno kultūros institutas in Kaunas and in 1975 from the party college in Leningrad . From 1979 to 1990 he was Vice Mayor of the municipality of Kaunas . In 2003 he worked as a vice minister at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania and from 2004 to 2006 he headed the Kaunas district .
From 1990 he was a member of Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija and from 2001 the LSDP .
From 1994 to 1995 he was a member of the Kaunas City Council.
