The Zigzag Pass (English for zigzag pass ) is a mountain pass on South Georgia . In the western part of the Wilcken chain , it leads from the Kohl plateau to the head end of the Esmark glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1982 after the folds of the rock on this pass in a zigzag pattern .
