Cistercian Abbey of Collonges

The Cistercian Abbey of Collonges (also: Colonge , Colonges or Collonge ) was a French convent of the Cistercian women in Broye-les-Loups-et-Verfontaine , Haute-Saône department , from around 1140 to 1622 .

history

The Tart Abbey settled the nunnery founded around 1140 northeast of Dijon , southwest of Gray (Haute-Saône) , in the forest of Autrey , which was located 15 kilometers from the Cistercian monastery of Theuley . In 1622 it was closed and the remaining convent was incorporated into the Ounans monastery in Dole . Structural remains of the monastery are now part of a farm.
