Zita Šličytė

Zita Šličytė (born August 7, 1943 in Skuodas ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, lawyer and politician from Klaipėda .

Life

In 1967, Šličytė graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in law and in 1979 received his doctorate on the subject of “Use of victimological data in the activity of lawyers in the Soviet criminal process ” (lit. Viktimologinių duomenų panaudojimas advokato veikloje tarybiniame baudžiamajame procese ).

From 1961 to 1963 she was the correspondent of the Tauragė Rajong Municipality and since 1968 she has been a lawyer. From 1990 to 1992 and from 1992 to 1996 she was a member of the Seimas, after which she works as a lawyer in Klaipėda and teaches at two universities in the city. From 2011 to 2015 she was a member of the Klaipėda Municipality Council (near Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai ).

Šličytė has two daughters, Daiva and Milda.
