The Red Bull RB1 was Red Bull Racing's first Formula 1 racing car . He took part in 18 of 19 races in the 2005 Formula 1 season .
Technology and development
The Red Bull RB1 was originally developed by the Jaguar Formula 1 team in 2004 . With the purchase of Jaguar Racing by the energy drink manufacturer Red Bull, the new Red Bull Racing team also adopted the concept of the vehicle designed by Mark Smith and Rob Taylor. The RB1 was powered by the V10 Cosworth TJ2005 . The tires for the RB1 were supplied by the French tire manufacturer Michelin .
Painting and sponsorship
The basic color of the Red Bull RB1 is dark blue. Large sponsor stickers from Red Bull are placed on the vehicle . The Red Bull logo on the bonnet and the front wing and the Red Bull lettering on the side pods. Another sponsor is the tire supplier Michelin.

The RB1 was piloted by Scotsman David Coulthard in the first car and the Austrian Christian Klien and the Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi , who took turns in the second car.
Third drivers were the two riders Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi and the American Scott Speed . The test driver was the Swiss Neel Jani .
