Before the second race of the season, the Australian Grand Prix , rumors arose that active suspension would be used in the RB6, which was actually prohibited by the regulations. Despite the assumption by other teams that the shock absorber fluid would only expand after qualifying practice and therefore enable the drivers to drive a flatter car during practice, the FIA did not react. There was no official protest.
