Zita Kabátová
Zita Kabátová (actually Zita Zavřelová; born April 27, 1913 in Prague ; † May 27, 2012 ibid) was a Czechoslovak and Czech actress .
Life
Kabátová made his debut in 1936 in Světlo jeho očí . During the years of the Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia , she appeared in two feature films made in German in 1944 under the pseudonym Maria von Buchlow : Luck on the Move and Fate on the River .
After the Second World War , she was therefore given a break. During this time she worked as a director of a cinema. It was not until 1969 that she worked again as an actress, initially in a traveling theater that moved through small towns and villages.
Kabátová was married twice. The first marriage to Ludvík Král ended in divorce because her husband had to spend long periods of time in India and the United Kingdom due to work and she could not get a visa . The rower Jiří Zavřel , her second husband, died in exile in the United States after emigrating in 1968. Kabátová was the mother of a son (* 1957).
Her best-known films include Provdám svou ženu with Vlasta Burian and Přednosta stanice with Jaroslav Marvan (both shot in 1941) and the 1978 comedy Kulový blesk . Kabátová had one of her last film roles in 2003 in Zelary .
