Zoltán Kecskés

Zoltán Kecskés (born July 14, 1974 in Valea lui Mihai , Romania) is a former Hungarian weightlifter .

Career

Kecskés reached fifth place in the class up to 59 kg at the European Championships in 1994 . At the 1995 World Championships he was tenth in the 69 kg class. In 1996 he took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta, where he was eighth in the featherweight division. At the European Championships in 2002 and 2003 he was fifth in the class up to 69 kg. At the World Championships in 2003 he reached eighth place. During the 2004 Athens Olympics, it was revealed that he had recently given a positive doping test and he was banned for two years.
