Zoltán Kiss

Zoltán Kiss [ ˈkiʃ ] (* 1980 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian trombonist .

Life

The trombone playing learned Kiss initially self-taught . Later he studied trombone at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Polish Warsaw . He is a member of the Warsaw Brass Trio and, since 2005, the Mnozil Brass ensemble . Since 2014 he has been the International Trombone Tutor for The Philip Jones Center for Brass of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester .

He also publishes solo albums, some of which he can be heard in a duet with the pianist Jacek Obstarczyk.
