Zoya Douchine (also German  Zoja Duschin , formerly Russian Зоя Алексеевна Душина , married von Barkenstein ; born October 24, 1983 in Moscow ) is a former German figure skater of Russian origin.

biography

Zoya Douchine began figure skating at the age of six with Lyudmila Tschernischewa in Moscow. She came to Germany with her parents in 1991 . Douchine started for EV Augsburg (until 1999) and ERC Munich , her trainers were Christa Winklmaier / Axel Teschemacher , Alexander Wedenin and finally Steffi Ruttkies (since 2001). Her greatest successes were the national junior title in 1996 and the German runner-up in 2000, in the same year she took part in European and world championships ( freestyle music " West Side Story ").

Zoya Douchine had to end her amateur career in 2003 because of a chronic foot injury ( fatigue fracture ). After graduating from school, she completed an apprenticeship as a tax clerk . In 2005, Douchine appeared in a small supporting role in the movie Death comes from the comedian duo Erkan and Stefan . Since 2013 she has been working as an entrepreneur in the real estate industry in Munich. With her husband she has a son and a daughter.
