Zubin Percy Muncherji (born June 23, 1996 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Zubin Percy Muncherji gained his first international experience in 2013, when he was eliminated in the first round of the World Youth Championships in Donetsk with 49.20 seconds in the 400-meter run . He then took part in the Southeast Asian Games in Naypyidaw for the first time over this distance , but was eliminated there with 48.89 s in the lead. The following year he failed at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei in the 200-meter run with 22.03 s in the first round and finished fifth over 400 meters in 47.74 s. At the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 2015 he reached sixth place in 47.87 s and in 2017 he was fifth in the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in 3: 15.44 min with the Singapore 4 x 400 meter relay. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he reached the semi-finals over 400 meters, in which he was eliminated with 47.88 seconds. In 2019 he was eliminated from the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in the individual competition with 48.75 s in the preliminary round and reached fifth place in the relay in 3: 12.35 min.
