The Zubov Bay is a 3.5 km wide bay on the east side of Renaud Island in the archipelago of the Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula .
It was first precisely recorded on an Argentine map from 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 after the Soviet oceanographer Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Subow (1885-1960), who wrote numerous works on sea ice in the Arctic .
