The baroque corner house from the 17th century received a new facade in the second half of the 18th century. Towards the Hafnersteig it is three-story and towards Greeksgasse it is two-story. In deeper Hafnersteig where Hafner had their area was a landing stage to the Danube Canal , where from the Greek quarter sedentary what has been Greek (Levantine) merchants trade was operated, so the connection alley to 1862 meat market was named as Griechengasse.
The facade with flat side projections still has the box windows, door shutters and grilles that were common in the past. A Maria Immaculate sculpture is located in a round niche with shell decoration diagonally above the portal in Greeksgasse, and below the niche there is a roco lantern that illuminates the steep connecting stairs between Hafnersteig and Greeksgasse. The ground floor is built with a groin vaulted ceiling. In the foyer with the original flagstone floor there is a stone trough fountain with a lion's head spout and handle. In the courtyard is a two pillars staircase and a spiral staircase and a flying buttress connected Gothic residential tower, which the house Griechengasse 9, the Griechenbeisl , belongs.
