Zunheboto is a city in the Indian state of Nagaland .

The city is the capital of the Zunheboto District . Zunheboto has the status of a Town Committee . The city is divided into 13 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 22,633 inhabitants, of which 11,715 were men and 10,918 were women. Christians make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 91%. Hindus form a minority of over 6%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 93.8%, well above the national average. 90.0% belong to the Scheduled Tribes .

In Zunheboto is the largest Baptist church in Asia, the Sumi Baptist Church with a capacity of over 8,000 people.
