Merger 2014

Merger 2014 ( Hungarian Összefogás 2014 ) is an electoral alliance of various Hungarian parties that ran for the 2014 parliamentary elections in Hungary .

It was founded on January 14, 2014 and consists of center-left opposition parties. The top candidate for the office of Prime Minister was Attila Mesterházy (MSZP). Their motto is "We are starting a new era". In the 2010 to 2014 legislative period, the alliance had 65 members in the Hungarian Parliament .

In the polls before the 2014 election, the alliance received 30 to 33% of the vote. According to the preliminary result, the group received 26% of the list votes and a total of 38 seats in 2014 . This corresponds to 19.1% of the total mandates.
