Zuzana Stivínová (born July 24, 1973 in Prague ) is a Czech actress .

Life

Zuzana Stivínová is the daughter of the musician Jiří Stivín . Her aunt is the actress of the same name, Zuzana Stivínová . Her grandmother was the actress Eva Svobodová . Since completing her acting studies at the Prague Conservatory in 1993 , she has worked at various theaters, including the Semafor , Divadlo Na zábradlí and the Národní divadlo .

With the drama The Hammock , staged by Vera Plívová-Šimková , she debuted on the big screen in 1990 during the Velvet Revolution . Since then she has appeared in over 60 film and television productions. Some of these films and series, such as Wasteland - Verlorenes Land , Maria Theresia and Mord im Böhmerwald , were also translated for the German-speaking audience. For her portrayals in The Hammock and Nevěrné hry she was nominated for Best Lead Actress and for Anděl Exit as Best Supporting Actress for the Czech film award Český lev .

Stivínová is married to the molecular biologist Lukáš Čermák. The couple have two sons together.
