The East Bohemian municipality of Pustina is to give way to the opencast mine and while some of the remaining residents are happy to accept the offer and want to sell their property in order to build a new life elsewhere, others are not giving up their town yet. The city and its inhabitants are divided, and the situation is tense. Then the mayor's daughter disappears without a trace

The filming took place from November 2015 to May 2016 mainly in the Czech Republic and the Czech- Polish - German border region: Komořany u Mostu , Jezeří Castle , the communities of Hole and Vrbice as well as in Kladno and the Kersko settlement. Including 10 days of shooting in the open-cast mine near Kadaň .
