Éliot Grondin (born April 19, 2001 ) is a Canadian snowboarder . He starts in snowboard cross.

Career

Grondin took seventh place at the 2017 Junior World Championships in Klinovec . He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in September 2017 in Cerro Catedral , which he finished in 45th and 39th place. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang he came in 36th place and at the Snowboard World Championships 2019 in Park City on 27th place in individual and tenth place in team competition. In March 2018 he became Canadian junior champion in snowboard cross and in August 2018 he won the silver medal at the junior world championships in Cardrona . At the beginning of April 2019, he again won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships on the Reiteralm and also took tenth place in the team competition. In the 2019/20 season he made five World Cup appearances, four times in the top ten. He achieved his first podium in the World Cup with second place in Big White and at the end of the season he was seventh in the Snowboard Cross World Cup.

Grondin has taken part in 22 World Cups so far and has been placed in the top ten five times. (Status: end of season 2019/20)
