Zviad Tsikoliya (born July 14, 1971 in Tbilisi ) is an industrial designer from Georgia .

Life

Tsikoliya is the son of Valerian Tsikoliya (director) and Medea Buhradze (actress). At a young age he showed an interest in technology, especially aircraft. At the age of eight he worked in a group of young technicians. After graduating from high school, she studied industrial design at the Tbilisi Art Academy.

At the Republic competition "Poti" in Georgia in 1986 he received the Grand Prix for the design of the truck. A year later at ENEA Moscow (USSR) he received a bronze medal for the design of the trailer. Since 1993 he has been chief designer at Air Georgia . In 1997, during the auto show in Frankfurt, he presented the complete theme for Bugatti . In 2001 he received an invitation as a consultant for Peugeot . In 2006 he took part in the Expo of Elegance in the Villa D 'Este exhibition, and in 2007 in the Geneva Motor Show. Since 2007 he has worked as chief designer at the Japanese company DCI. In 2010 he started working as chief designer at the "Delta" design office. In 2012 he opened his own watch company "UNIQ". In 2013/2014 he worked as a consultant for SAIC Motor and dealt with the interior design for future models. In addition, he is involved as a trainer in the field of design.

Tsikoliya lives in Tbilisi and has been married to Marina Chorawa (designer) since 1997, with whom he has two sons.
