Zweiseithof Altzitzschewig 7

description

The former stable house on the left is a listed building along with the barn behind it . The two-story stable house, like its neighboring houses, faces the street at the gable , on the left side at the property boundary of a long, narrow property. The tile- covered gable roof covers an upper floor with half-timbering on the gable side and towards the courtyard; the massive ground floor is plastered.

Behind it, across the entire width of the farm, there is a barn, newly built after a fire, with a gable roof and arched passage. The barn was rebuilt together with that of the right neighbor after a fire.

At the front facing the street, the two-sided courtyard is closed off with a gate system made of stout, sturdy pillars, with a wooden gate in between. Cover plates crowned with vases lie on the pillars .

history

Altzitzschewig 7, then 8 (from left)

The current house was built at the beginning of the 19th century. In November 1890, the former barn burned down and was rebuilt the following month in the building line with the neighboring barn (No. 8) . Design and construction were carried out by FA Bernhard Große ; the barn is very similar to the barns rebuilt at the same time by Moritz Große in Naundorf (Altnaundorf 6 and the neighboring properties).

The client was honored for the renovation of the Altzitzschewig 7/8 property on the occasion of the Radebeul Building Owner Award 2001 with recognition in the category of monument renovation .
