Architecture and history

The courtyard has existed since the Middle Ages and served as the entrance to the Munzenberg. In 1821 there was a separation and sale.

The house of the courtyard and a directly adjacent farm building were built in half-timbered construction and should essentially go back to the Middle Ages. They are on the south side of the facility. The unusually high roof is striking. During the 16th century, was in front of the residence status bay set on which a dormer rests. Another residential building was added to this complex in 1680. This wing, also built in half-timbered construction, is partly plastered and has a bay window. There are beam heads below the threshold .

The large farm yard also includes several granaries from the 19th century, some of which were built from rubble stones , some from half-timbered houses and decorated with bricks. Pike can be found on the roofs .

The paving of the courtyard and the walled property fence are also part of the monument.
