Intergovernmental Aviation Committee
The Interstate Aviation Committee ( Russian Межгосударственный авиационный комитет , MAK , English Interstate Aviation Committee IAC ) is an organization of current and former CIS -Staaten, the governments powers and functions in the field of civil aviation and airspace delegated. MAK was founded on December 30, 1991. The headquarters of the organization is located in Moscow , and the chairman is Aviation General Tatiana Anodina . The main responsibilities of the Intergovernmental Aviation Committee include:
- Certification of flying machines, airports and airlines
- Keeping the aviation register
- Investigation of specific incidents and accidents in air traffic
