When ditching an Antonov An-24 passenger aircraft of the Russian airline Angara Airlines with flight number 5007 on the Siberian Ob River on July 11, 2011 at 11:55 a.m. near Streschewoi , at least seven of the 37 occupants were killed. At least 25 of the other occupants of the machine, which was on the way from Tomsk to Surgut , were injured. The fuselage of the aircraft had not withstood the heavy load caused by the impact on the water. The emergency landing occurred after one of the propeller plane's two engines caught fire.
