Zygmunt Choreń
Zygmunt Choreń (* 1941 ) is a Polish shipbuilding engineer and entrepreneur. Choreń is of outstanding importance due to the extraordinarily large number of new sailing ships he designed and significant sailing ship conversions.

Choreń studied shipbuilding at the Technical University of Gdansk (1965–1968) and at the State Marine Technical University of St. Petersburg (SMTU). After completing his studies in Gdansk and Leningrad , since 1978 worked at the Lenin Shipyard in Gdansk on the development and construction of a number of tall ships .
In 1992 he founded his own ship design and consulting company, Choreń Design & Consulting, in Gdańsk . In addition to sailing ship designs, all kinds of cargo ships as well as special ships or conversions are planned there.
