Eboy

Eboy (also eboy ) is a group of German artists and freelance graphic designers founded in 1998 that specializes in pixel art and, more rarely, also produces vector graphics . The founding members of the group working in Berlin- Wedding are Steffen Sauerteig, Svend Smital and Kai Vermehr; Peter Stemmler ( New York City ), who had since joined the group, left the group in January 2007 to concentrate on his Quickhoney project .

Works

The designers' work includes advertising orders from MTV , Adidas and SAP , illustrations for publications such as Die Woche , Die Zeit or The Face as well as the cover picture of “ Spiegel ” from August 10, 2009 and the design of a toy series called Peecol . Their isometric cityscapes, for example of London or Tokyo, were most popular . Eboy brought out their image database in 2002 in the volume Hello Eboy . The group showed prints of their works at various exhibitions, for example Pixelesque in May / June 2004 in the Maxalot Gallery in Barcelona or as part of Digital Aesthetic 2 in the United Kingdom in spring 2007. They appeared at conferences such as Typo Berlin 2006 or Pictoplasma Conference of the Pictoplasma project .
