Bounty is a British car brand.

Company history

Mel Hubbard founded in 1999, the company Manxbuggies in Dartford in the county of Kent . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand names are u. a. Bounty and Manx . He later moved to Wisbech in Cambridgeshire . In 2003, East Coast Manx from Uppingham in Rutland continued production under the direction of Rob Kilham. In 2007 he moved to King's Lynn in Norfolk . A total of about eight copies have been made so far.

The only model is the Hunter . This VW buggy is based on a design by Brian Dries, which was produced in California between 1969 and 1971 . The basis is the chassis of the VW Beetle , which is shortened by 37 cm.
