Fletcher Boats Limited , formerly Norman Fletcher Limited , a British company in the boat building and former manufacturers of automobiles .

Company history

Norman Fletcher founded in the late 1950s, the company Norman Fletcher Limited in Walsall in the county of West Midlands and started the production of boats. In addition, a few automobiles were made up to 1967. The brand name was Fletcher . In 2002 the company ran into financial difficulties. On March 5th, 2003 Fletcher Boats Limited was founded and only manufactures boats. Directors are Andrew Nicholas John Wyer and Antonia Wyer. The seat is in Wolverhampton .

Automobiles

In 1963, Norman Fletcher took over the Ogle Design projects . From several prototypes he made a new design that continued to resemble the previous Ogle SX 1000 . The model that appeared in 1967 was called the GT . The Mini formed the basis . The two-seater coupé body was made of plastic . A Swiss dealer ordered 30 vehicles, but because the British Motor Corporation did not supply the required parts, the order could not be carried out. A total of four vehicles were built.
