Grateful Dead / discography
This discography is an overview of the sound carriers and concert films of the Grateful Dead . The discography is difficult to fully grasp. Grateful Dead allowed bootleggers to record their live shows and recorded almost all of the live shows themselves. This resulted in almost every show being documented and published in one form or another. The discography focuses on the official publications as well as the semi-official or tolerated commercially available bootlegs. An extensive collection of material from shows that have not yet been used commercially can be found in the Internet Archive .

Dave's Picks series
After Dick Latvala's series ended, David Lemieux took on his own series. This started in February 2012 and is still ongoing. The respective CDs were released on Rhino Records in a limited edition of 14,000 . They usually consisted of three CDs that represented a live recording. Some parts of the series still contained a bonus CD.
