Kadron Engenharia, Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles and kit cars .

Company history

The company from São Paulo initially produced bumpers , exhaust systems and other vehicle accessories. At the end of 1969, the production of automobiles began, initially in the Puma factory and from 1971 in its own halls. The brand name was Kadron . 1995 Cofap took over the company. Around 600 vehicles were built.

Caetano , Classic Car Réplicas , Cross Way , German Racing , Mufacar and Swell made similar models.

On offer were buggies designed by Anísio Campos. A chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil that was shortened by 35 cm, an air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine in the rear and an open, doorless body made of fiberglass were the details.

The model was initially called Tipo and later just Kadron . It was the country's first buggy. The front headlights were partially integrated into the front of the vehicle. A hardtop and doors were available a little later .
