Projects d'Avant Garde Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Paulo de Aguiar Goulart, who also ran Dacon , founded the company in 1984 in Santana de Parnaíba . He started producing automobiles in 1988. The brand name was PAG . Production ended in 1991.

vehicles

The first model was the PAG Dacon , which is seen as the successor to the Dacon 828 and was also designed by Anísio Campos. The body was made of fiberglass . The four-cylinder engine was based on an engine from the VW Gol . However, it made 99  hp from a displacement of 2100 cc . The vehicle was front-wheel drive .

In 1987 PAG Nick appeared . The basis was the VW Saveiro . The small two-seater coupe was 308 cm long. Two different engines from Volkswagen do Brasil with 1595 cm³ and 1781 cm³ drove the front wheels. A revision followed in 1990. Around 130 vehicles of this model were built in 1991.

In 1990 the Chubby supplemented the range. It was based on the VW Santana . The four-seater vehicle was 404 cm long. The engine with a capacity of 2000 cc and manifold injection developed 125 hp.
