Saara was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A company from Teresina started producing automobiles in the 1970s. The brand name was Saara . Vehicles have survived for 1995. After that, production ended.

VW buggies were on offer . The first models were similar to the BRM Buggy from Montadora Nacional de Automóveis : The models from the 1980s showed a similarity to the Fyber . In the 1990s, another redesign resulted in a relatively small windshield and angular headlights that were integrated into the front of the vehicle.

All models had an open, doorless body. There was a roll-over device behind the front seats . The chassis and engine have not survived.
