List of former NSDAP members who were politically active after May 1945

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list contains politicians who were members of the NSDAP and / or one of its branches, the SA or SS , and who played a role in politics after the end of the Second World War .

The table contains information on the respective period of membership in the NSDAP, as well as information on later party membership and exercise of political offices. The linked articles contain further information.

The NSDAP was banned by the Allies in October 1945 ( Control Council Act No. 2 of October 10, 1945, entered into force on October 12, 1945), in Austria already with the Prohibition Act of May 8, 1945 ( Prohibition Act 1947 ). Unless further indications can be assumed, the membership of the NSDAP for this list is understood to be terminated for the listed persons by this date at the latest. The year is still mentioned as the last point in time if there are no reasons for different information. Some of the people listed left this party before the dissolution of the NSDAP.
