Pulaski County is located in central southwest Virginia and covers an area of ​​854 square kilometers, of which 23 square kilometers are water. It was formed in 1839 from parts of Montgomery County and Wythe County. It is named after Kazimierz Pułaski , a general of the War of Independence.
