==History==
The club were founded on [[September 18]] [[1975]] at a meeting held in the home of Alfredo San Miguel in Berazategui. The club's first president was Giberto Martín. The orange colour of the clubs shirts was inspired by the [[Netherlands national football team|Netherlands]] kit in the [[1974 FIFA World Cup]]. In March 1976 the club were affiliated with the [[Asociación del Fútbol Argentino|Argentine Football Association]] (AFA) and made their league debut in [[Primera D Metropolitana|Primera D]]. In their first season they finished in second place behind champions [[Club Defensores de Cambaceres|Defensores de Cambaceres]] and were promoted to Primera C. AFter nine seasons in Primera C, Berazategui gained one of six places in [[Primera B Metropolitana]], following a restructuring of the [[Argentine football league system]], even though they had finished the 1985 season just two points above relegation back to Primera D. Under new coach Roberto Santiago the club signed new players including Hugo Commidari from [[Club Atlético Temperley]], Marcelo Grasso from [[Sportivo Dock Sud]] and Marcelo Scrigner from [[Club Atlético Villa San Carlos]].<ref name="adb-history">

After two promotions, the club came close to promotion again in the [[1988–89 in Argentine football|1988-89 season]] and finally won their first championship in [[1989–90 in Argentine football|1989-90]] when they won the Apertura.<ref name="adb-history"/>

Asociación Deportiva Berazategui are an Argentine football club from the town of Berazategui, Berazategui Partido in Buenos Aires Province. They currently play in the regionalised fourth level of football in Argentina, Primera C Metropolitana.

In March 1976 the club were affiliated with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and made their league debut in Primera D. In their first season they finished in second place behind champions Defensores de Cambaceres and were promoted to Primera C. AFter nine seasons in Primera C, Berazategui gained one of six places in Primera B Metropolitana, following a restructuring of the Argentine football league system, even though they had finished the 1985 season just two points above relegation back to Primera D.
