Michael Le Vell (real name Michael Turner) (born December 15, 1964 in Manchester)^[1] is an English character actor who since 1983 has played the role of garage mechanic, 'Kevin Webster', in the soap opera Coronation Street^[1]. He was the first actor in a UK soap to have his left ear pierced.

Trivia

Le Vell appeared on Challenge TV's Showbiz Darts in October 2006 and went on to win the tournament.
In his role as Kevin Webster, Le Vell earned thousands of admirers due to his shapely backside - Kev was barely ever seen wearing anything other than tight jeans.
He was part of Dec's boyband on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and performed "It Only Takes A Minute" by Take That.
Le Vell once said of the craft of autofellatio - "I taught Ron Jeremy everything he knows, but not everything I know"
He featured as a contestant on the second series of Gameshow Marathon^[1] on which he was crowned Gameshow Marathon champion on 26 May, 2007.
He is an avid Manchester United supporter and has done opening program intros for Setanta.
It is a well known fact that Le Vell once made unsuccessful sexual advances towards co-star Eileen Derbyshire (Emily Bishop).
It is believed that Le Vell once drank co-star Bruce Jones under the table at a cast party, in what is now a legendary exchange due to the fact that both men had drunk well over 40 pints before Jones conceded defeat.
His wife is the actress Janette Beverley who starred in the 80's comedy 'Sharon and Elsie' alongside Brigit Forsyth.
He often frequents the American Bar in Hale on Saturday nights.
Le Vell was born with the condition micropenis, but has said in interviews that he "don't mind," as his testicular sack extends down past his knees. "It's a fair trade off," he told OK Magazine.
