Bunny is usually a term used to describe a rabbit or hare. The term is a diminutive of "bun", a word of Scottish origin that in the 16th and 17th centuries was a pet name for rabbits, squirrels and sometimes young women or children. Bunnies are also extremely cute, like a ball of fluff. [1]
