UPA, or University Preparatory Academy, is a charter school located in San Jose, CA; its charter was approved by the Santa Clara Board of Trustees. UPA opened in the fall of 2007(around June) as a middle and high school; however, it will only be offering 7-10th grades for 2008-2009.

University Preparatory Academy is located at the campus "Cathedral of Faith" also known as (COF), a church at 2315 Canoas Garden Ave. University Preparatory Academy rents the campus of Cathedral of Faith and "borrows" the campus for a school.

Some of UPA's classes include Technology and Web 2.0. In fact, this article was created by the Web 2.0 class.
