Osmaniye is a new Turkish province which is located in southeastern Turkey. It was created in 1997 out of the eastern part of Adana Province plus a small part of Gaziantep Province. It covers an area of 3,320 km² and has a population of 458,782 (2000 census}.
The capital of the province is Osmaniye. The next largest towns are Kadirli and Düziçi.
