Düziçi is a district town ( Merkez ) in the Turkish province of Osmaniye and at the same time the capital of the district of the same name . Düziçi is in the east of the province and borders on the province of Kahramanmaraş . The city claims about 62 percent of the district's population and is located on a plain surrounded by mountains. The name of the city is derived from this and, loosely translated, means "in the middle of the plain".

The district is next to the county town nor from four other municipalities : Atalan (1770), Böcekli (2362), Yarbaşı (3823) and Ellek (6,565 pop.). There are also 25 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 686 people. Six of them have more than 1,000 inhabitants: Gümüş (1,004), Pirsultanlı (1,086), Çerçioğlu (1,223), Bostanlar (1,284), Yazlamazlı (1,525) and Gökçayır (1,933 inhabitants). That um. The village of Çamiçi (end of 2017: 1,334 inhabitants) has been a district ( Mahalle ) of the district town since 2018 and had 1,324 inhabitants at the end of 2018.
