Fred and Barney Meet the Shmoo was a 90-minute animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions which aired on NBC from December 8, 1979 to November 15, 1980. It contained the following segments:
The show was a repackage of reruns of The New Fred and Barney Show and The Thing from Fred and Barney Meet the Thing (1979) combined with half-hour reruns of The New Shmoo (which were now split into two-parters). Fred and Barney, the Thing and the Shmoo appeared in their separate segments but were only featured together briefly in-between segments.
The following year, the Shmoo would join Fred and Barney again in segments of "Bedrock Cops" on The Flintstone Comedy Show.
