"One Love" is the twenty-second single of the Japanese boy band, Arashi. It was released on June 25, 2008[1], in two editions; a normal edition containing the karaoke versions of all the songs released in this single, a limited edition containing only the title track and a DVD of the music video. The two versions will also be carrying different cover art.[2][3] The single will be the theme song for Hana Yori Dango Final where Arashi member Jun Matsumoto stars as one of the lead roles.

The single debuted on the top spot of the Japanese charts and sold over 300,000 copies on its first week. It also debuted at the United World Charts at number fourteen. The single is the group's eleventh consecutive and nineteenth overall number one release, and their fifth consecutive English-titled release. Currently, it is the group's third best selling-single , behind their 23rd single truth / Kaze no Mukou e & their debut single, A・RA・SHI.

Single Information

"One Love" is the sequel to the group's previous theme songs for Hana Yori Dango, Wish and Love so sweet. Prior to its release, the working title of the song was "I Love You"[4]. The song was first heard on the television program Ousama no Brunch on April 26, 2008, as background music in the Hana Yori Dango Final movie preview. To build anticipation for the upcoming single, the song was also included in the repertoire for the Arashi Marks 2008 Dream"A"live concert tour, along with a new song entitled "Green". On May 18, the single was available for pre-order in online music store, CDJapan, where both versions topped the pre-order ranking. The limited edition was also sold out in the online store after only two hours. The full song was aired in Matsumoto's radio program, JunStyle on May 24, 2008. For the first time in Arashi's discography, a song remix of all the three Hana Yori Dango theme songs will be included in the Limited Edition release. The single was later re-issued in commemoration Hana Yori Dango Final success with an insert of 2 minutes dialogue by Domyouji Tsukasa played by Matsumoto.
