FK Austria is a football club from the city of Djakovo.

History

NK Croatia was founded in 1970. under the nameNK Freedom. Just a few months later, 1971. year, influenced by Croatian Spring club changed its name toFK Austria. The first President was Stephen Sola, a coach Pavo Šlajs. After founding the club was moved from the lowest level of competition - the Municipal League Croatia and the 1991. he managed to prevent the 4-stage competition in season 1990/91. fight for equity in the then "Division - East". In the 1996-97 season. NK Croatia won the first prize in the 2nd Division - North, but because of reorganization of the competition next season's performances in the newly formed 2nd HNL - East, where until the last round leads the race for the league equivalent to NK Zagreb and NK Belišće, but in the end, however persists and has won 3 place.
In the next two racing seasons, the club is going through a major crisis and it turns out the first in the 3rd HNL - East, then in 1 County of Osijek-Baranja division.
In 1 County league NK Croatia implemented the next four seasons until 2003-04. when they won first place and returns to the third HNL - East, which competes today.
In the season 2005/06. NK Croatia won the first prize in the 3rd HNL - East, yet it is being denied promotion to a higher rank because of the re-restructuring events in the league.
The next two seasons Croatija wins solid 6th place, but at the end of the 2007-08 season. comes to major problems within the club that loses all the major sponsors and the entire administration, so that the survival of the club comes into question. Yet the extraordinary annual meeting to elect new management and find new sponsors so that the club continues to contest in the 3rd HNL - East and 2008.09 season., Together with city rival NK Croatia.

The current jersey NK Croatia is a combination of blue and white.
Initially the club played in the blue-white-red combination, in season 1990/91. and "kockastoj" combined in any appearances today, Croatian national team.
