Lis Wiehl

Lis Wiehl (b. Yakima, Washington) is a legal analyst for Fox News, joing the network in 2001. Before joining Fox, Wiehl was a legal analyst for KIRO-TV in Seattle, National Public Radio, and NBC News. When President Clinton was in the White House (20 January, 1993 through 20 January, 2001), Wiehl was a federal prosecutor and worked for the House of Representatives team during the Clinton impeachment proceedings.

Wiehl currently is an adjunct professor of law at the New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She may frequently be heard contributing her legal experience on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor.

Wiehl received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College in 1983, received her Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and received her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.

Lis Wiehl is also the author of the book, "Winning Every Time: How to Use the Skills of a Lawyer in the Trials of Your Life," published in 2004.

Lis Wiehl married defense attorney Michael (Mickey) Sherman on 23rd June, 2006 in Old Greenwich, CT. Mickey Sherman is best known for losing the Michael Skakel murder case.

Wiehl has a daughter and a son from a previous marriage. Sherman, about 14 years Wiehl's senior, also has an adult son and an adult daughter from his own previous marriage.
