Achalinus rufescens, commonly known as Boulenger's odd-scaled snake, is a species of snake in the family Xenodermatidae.

The species is found in Northern Vietnam and China: in Hong Kong, Hainan and west to Guizhou, Shaanxi, Guangdong and Fujian.[1][2]
